Emilie Taman, the Review and Renewal Process facilitator, conducted a wide-ranging consultation as part of this process and received input from New Democrats across the country.
New Democrats are proud of what was accomplished in the last Parliament, from dental care, and universal pharmacare to historic anti-scab legislation.
Our members have an enormous sense of hope and determination about the future. They know that the last campaign took place in extraordinary circumstances – with external pressure from the US and an increasingly polarized Canadian electorate. But they also know that despite the results, there is cause for optimism.
Moving forward, New Democrats are dedicated to the work of renewing this party. This report will provide a roadmap for that important work to take place.
