DON'T LET THE BOUNDARY COMMISSION TAKE THE SCISSORS TO NORTHERN ONTARIO

OUR REGION DESERVES ADEQUATE REPRESENTATION IN PARLIAMENT

The Ontario Boundaries Commission says Northern Ontario isn't entitled to the representation it has now in Parliament. Even though the population of the North is growing, the Commission wants to cut one seat from Northern Ontario.

The North is already overlooked and left behind by one prime minister after another.

Cutting a seat from the North will diminish the voice of Indigenous communities in the vast lands of the North.

Cutting a seat will mean less representation for the needs of Franco-Ontarian communities.

Cutting a seat will mean less power in the fight for good jobs for the next generation, for more homes and for lower food costs and utility bills.

Removing a seat is the wrong step at a time when immigration and economic development opportunities are opening up the North to investment.

Adequate representation is a fundamental principle of Canadian democracy.

Add your name to support a loud voice for the North and oppose the cut to the number of Northern MPs.
