Trudeau refuses to reverse cuts to pandemic benefits for seniors and out of work Canadians

Today’s announcement from Justin Trudeau fails to reverse his previous cuts to seniors benefits and Canadians who are out of work because of the pandemic.

Seniors who received CERB are facing significant cuts to Guaranteed Income Supplementthey count on.

And in his most recent budget, Trudeau cut the Canada Recovery Benefit (CRB) by $800 – at 40% cut for the million people still out of work because of the pandemic.
