Say it ain’t so? Shutting down debate for the 75th time?

As Conservative MPs scramble to get out of Ottawa as soon as possible, Government House Leader Peter Van Loan is outdoing himself when it comes to legislative laziness.

Not only have Conservative MPs missed 145 speaking spots in evening debates in the last few weeks, they’ve now proposing to shut down debate for the 75th (and maybe even 76th) time!

When will Peter Van Loan and Stephen Harper start taking Parliament - and their jobs - seriously?

Canadians deserve better.
