NDP statement on Rosh Hashanah

NDP Leader Tom Mulcair made the following statement:

“At the beginning of the Jewish High Holidays, I would like to offer my best wishes to everyone gathered this weekend to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.

This holiday is a time to be with friends and family, to reflect on the past, and to prepare for the coming year. It’s also an opportunity to honour the important contributions and traditions of Canada’s vibrant Jewish community.

On behalf of the entire NDP team, my wife Catherine and I wish you and your family a year filled with good health, happiness, peace and prosperity.
