NDP make statement about Liberal convention

NDP MP Charlie Angus (Timmins-James Bay) made the following statement:

"The pandemic has exposed the massive inequalities facing gig workers, women, seniors and young people, and the complete lack of a Liberal vision for the vaccine roll out.

"The Liberals are turning to a banker to save the party brand. Carney is just the latest in a long list of patrician white millionaires who supposedly know best.

"The NDP convention is focused on building a base among Canadians who are fed up and want to see change that will actually be delivered."
