Jagmeet Singh announces upcoming Canada-wide post-budget tour

Canada’s NDP Jagmeet Singh will kick off a Canada-wide tour to discuss how the NDP has been fighting and will continue to fight for Canadians

OTTAWA — On Thursday, Canada’s NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh announced his upcoming Canada-wide tour to talk to Canadians about how the NDP delivered results that put money back in their pockets.
The budget released on Tuesday shows New Democrats have used their power to deliver results for Canadians at a time when people desperately need help with the soaring cost of living. New Democrats secured another doubling of the GST rebate and dental care for children under 18, people living with a disability and seniors – millions of Canadians are going to save $1,700.
Over the next two weeks, Singh will visit the following cities to talk about how the NDP fought for you and your family:

Toronto

Montreal

St. John’s

Halifax

Windsor

Hamilton

Saskatoon

Coquitlam

“This is a difficult time for Canadians all over the country with the rising cost of everything,” said Singh. “That is why we fought for a budget that will save you money. For too long, seniors and families had to continue to live in pain because they couldn't afford to go to the dentist. We forced Justin Trudeau to act and we delivered real results for workers and their families. We know the job is not done. We will continue to fight for you.”
