Canada's NDP is looking for passionate, highly motivated individuals who want to help build up the party’s support and resources. Our national call team reaches all areas of the country to discuss important issues, bold solutions and the actions needed to make it a reality. Our team includes members from all across Canada.

Having prior fundraising, canvassing and/or campaign experience is a plus, but is not required. New members will receive ongoing training and coaching; the most important element is a strong desire to learn and succeed

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communications skills
• Strong personal drive
• Ability to adapt well to changing work priorities
• Comfort speaking to for long periods of time on the phone
• Comfortable asking supporters for donations
• Active listening skills
• Willingness to work irregular hours (days, evenings and weekends)
• Ability to work well independently
• Knowledge of New Democratic Party history and policy and Canadian politics in
general.

Assets

• Prior NDP campaign experience
• Previous canvassing experience
• Multilingualism
• Previous experience using direct dialer tools

Annual salary

Starting at $22.21 per hour as per the Collective Agreement with
COPE 225
