Trudeau refuses to denounce candidate’s house flipping
Despite calling home-flipping “predatory,” today Justin Trudeau refused to condemn the flipping practice of his Vancouver Granville candidate.
Taleeb Noormohamed has bought and sold at least 42 properties in Greater Vancouver since 2005. Since media first reported the story, he has:
- Refused to commit to stopping the practice if elected;
- Refused to say how much he's profited;
- Admitted he only lived in three of the houses, but refused to say how many times he used the principal residency exemption on his taxes.
When asked by media about his candidate’s activity, Trudeau declined to denounce his candidate’s house flipping.
