BOIE must investigate Patrick Brown

The NDP has filed a complaint with the Board of Internal Economy asking for an investigation into former Conservative MP Patrick Brown’s activities between November 8, 2014 and May 13, 2015 to determine if he was improperly using Parliamentary resources for his provincial leadership campaign.

“For more than 8 months, Brown dedicated his time and energy to the Ontario PC leadership race. He took part in debates, interviews, partisan events and fundraisers. None of these activities have anything to do with his work as Member for the riding of Barrie and/or as a member of the federal Conservative caucus,” wrote NDP MP and Ontario Caucus Chair, Malcolm Allen (Welland).
