The $300,000 cost of Trudeau’s fake housing promises

Since Justin Trudeau was elected six years ago, the benchmark home price has increased by $300,700. Prices have grown three times faster under Trudeau than Harper.

And Trudeau promised to bring in a speculation tax in Budget 2020-21. He didn’t. Since then, Canada’s benchmark home price has shot up $149,800.

Jagmeet Singh:

“For six years, Justin Trudeau has protected wealthy real estate speculators while housing costs skyrocketed out of reach for millions of people. Canadians simply can’t afford Justin Trudeau’s fake promises anymore.”
