Everyone should have access to the medication they need with their health card, not their credit card. But right now, nearly one in four in Canada have reported splitting pills, skipping doses, or deciding not to renew or fill their prescriptions due to high costs. It does not need to be this way. 

New Democrats fought to deliver free contraception, diabetes medication and devices, and a plan for single-payer pharmacare so that you can stay healthier. This important first step will save a lot of people money and it will cut down on costs in our healthcare system.
