As we prepare for the upcoming NDP Convention, the Calgary Centre Electoral District Association (EDA) is inviting all Southern Alberta EDAs to join us for a Convention Info Session and Policy Workshop, designed to demystify the process and empower members to participate fully and effectively.

From Ideas to Impact is a practical, collaborative session focused on how EDAs can shape party policy, submit strong resolutions, and coordinate delegate engagement ahead of convention.

What to expect:

• A clear overview of the NDP Convention structure and timelines
• Step-by-step guidance on writing and submitting policy resolutions
• Best practices for delegate selection and preparation
• Space for questions, discussion, and collaboration across EDAs

Whether you’re a long-time organizer or new to the policy process, this session is an opportunity to ensure Southern Alberta voices are organized, informed, and influential at Convention.

It will be a hybrid event, with both in-person and online options to attend.
