Both Canada and the United Nations recognize that Indigenous communities deserve to be protected from housing discrimination. However, Justin Trudeau's Liberals have failed to respond to the unique housing needs of northern communities.
Families in the North have mould in their homes because the Liberal government will not take action to help them. Canada has national and international human rights obligations. After centuries of colonial policy designed to subjugate Indigenous Peoples, Canada must ensure that Northerners have acceptable living conditions. Add your name if you agree:
