Canada must stop weapon sales to Netanyahu

Tell Justin Trudeau, Canada must stop selling arms and prioritize peace for Palestinians and Israelis.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is getting worse by the day. We call on the federal government to take meaningful actions to prioritize peace and protect the lives of civilians.

Over 25,000 innocent people have been killed — over half are children — in the war between Israel and Hamas. For months the NDP has been calling for a ceasefire and the release of hostages, but the Liberals failed to meaningfully act.

We have also demanded Canada to:

Pledge support to International Criminal Court and International Court of Justice investigations into all violations of international law
Halt of Canadian arms sales to Netanyahu’s extremist government
Reverse cuts to UNWRA and support the investigation into serious allegations
Increase efforts to ensure illegal arms do not reach terrorist groups like Hamas; Advocate for an end to the occupation and invest in building a just and sustainable peace for Palestinians and Israelis

Canada can’t be calling for a ceasefire and keep selling arms in the region. Join the call to stop weapon sales in the Middle East.
