I would like to invite you to the first ever Women’s Forum to be held in Ottawa on October 18th 2012.

The Women's Forum will be the first gathering of its kind to bring women, activists and organizations together to shape our way forward. In the midst of challenging times, it's more important than ever to add your voice to the conversation about equality – in the economy, in society and in our communities.

When: October 18th, 2012 from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
Where: Government Conference Centre, entrance at Colonel By Drive, 2 Rideau Street, Ottawa, ON.

Program

Tom Mulcair, leader of the Official Opposition will be joining us to address participants.

Keynote Speakers:
Kathleen A. Lahey, Educator, Advocate, and Litigator from Queen's University
Sheila North-Wilson, Chief Communications Officer, Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs and former CBC journalist.

Celebrated speakers who will be joining us for three panel discussions include: Robyn Benson, President of the Public Service Alliance of Canada, Alexa Conradi, President of the Fédération des femmes du Québec, Bonnie Brayton, National Executive Director,DisAbled Women's Network Canada, and Kandace Hagen from the PEI Reproductive Rights Organization.
