What they’re saying: “Stephen Harper has met his match”

We’re into the third week of Election 2015 – here’s some of what political watchers are saying about our Campaign for Change:

On Tom Mulcair’s autobiography, Strength of Conviction:

“Tom Mulcair’s Strength of Conviction tells a story of a man who could make history […] it tells us that in drive, determination and sheer force of intellect, Stephen Harper has met his match. Mulcair’s up-by-his-bootstraps story is truly inspiring. The second of 10 children in a sprawling Irish-Catholic Quebec family, he grew up in a home where love was abundant and money was short.” – Margaret Wente, The Globe and Mail (July 31, 2015)

On the strong candidates joining Mulcair’s team:

“Mulcair unveiled a new star candidate with impeccable economic management credentials in the form of Andrew Thomson, a former Saskatchewan finance minister, who will run in the Toronto riding held by federal Finance Minister Joe Oliver.” – John Ivison, National Post (August 14, 2015)

On the NDP’s growing momentum across the country:

“The NDP has emerged as the rallying point for those who are […] most committed to change. It may also be the case that the NDP’s blunter, progressive position on Bill C-51 has been an important ingredient in its success.” – Frank Graves, iPolitics (August 14, 2015)
