Tell Trudeau: STOP teaming up with O’Toole to protect billionaires

Over the course of the pandemic, Canadians have struggled through unemployment, paying bills, and simply trying to get by. While we struggled, billionaires and big corporations made a fortune. How much? Their net worth increased by $78 Billion dollars over 18 short months.

Profiting off the pandemic is just wrong.

The NDP called out this pandemic profiteering – and we put it to a vote. It was simple, we wanted to make the ultra-rich pay their fair share so we could build a recovery that benefits everyone.

What did Justin Trudeau do? Trudeau teamed up with Conservative Erin O’Toole and voted against making the rich pay their fair share. That’s not leadership - and it’s not putting workers and families first.

So while New Democrats are fighting for workers, Justin Trudeau is protecting his ultra-rich friends and their COVID profits. This has to stop.

Sign to tell Justin Trudeau he needs to start standing up for families, and stop defending his rich friends.
