Top Ten Good Reasons to Vote Early

10. Voting early is easy. Four days and thousands of locations. Go to NDP.ca/vote to find out how.

9. October 19th is game 3 of the ALCS. If you’re a Blue Jays fan (and who isn’t these days) you’re not going to want to miss a potential game three showdown in the American League Championship Series.

8. A break from Thanksgiving. The advance polls are throughout Thanksgiving Weekend. Sometimes, you just need a good reason to escape the family for little while. Voting is a great reason.

7. Get it done. You do not want to be “that person” who forgot to vote, and face this reaction for the next four years:

6. Brunch. Voting on a weekend means you can make a Brunch Voting Date. Breakfast + Lunch + Voting: Brunchvo. It’s a thing, look it up.

5. Fresh Pencils. The pencils in the voting booth will NEVER be as fresh as on the first day of voting:

4. Something might come up. If you win a trip to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory valid only on October 19, you won’t have to back out because you haven’t voted yet.

3. Volunteer. Voting early means you can volunteer on Election Day and get EVEN MORE people out to vote: Sign up here: NDP.ca/volunteer. (It’s not quite like this):

2. Expect the unexpected. You might get food poisoning on October 19. It happens.

1. Don’t wait for Change. You just can’t wait to defeat Stephen Harper and elect for Tom Mulcair and the NDP.
