Reality check: Operation Grand Seduction: Liberal Express arrives in "la Belle Province"

Another Harper Conservative budget was adopted and Liberals were notable in their absence. In the House of Commons, on June 8th, 30 Liberal MPs missed the last budget vote (C-9), including Denis Coderre, Irwin Cotler, Stéphane Dion, Bernard Patry and Pablo Rodriguez. Then the budget was off to the Senate.

Liberals in the House or the Senate: more of the same!

Seven liberal senators decided it was more important to travel than to vote: thanks to Senators de Bané, Fox and Joyal! Say hello to the gutting of environmental assessments, the possible sale of Atomic Energy of Canada Ltd. and a move towards the privatization of Canada Post.

Canadians can’t rely on the Ignatieff Liberals to defend their interests. Iggy doesn’t lead by example: he was present for only 2 out of 26 budgetary votes in the last session or a7.7% participation.

After supporting Stephen Harper’s policies with 108 confidence votes, Liberals just can’t get the job done.

 Yes, Michael we agree with you. We deserve better than that!
