Happy Anniversary Liberals!

Harper’s defacto majority thrives under Ignatieff

50 votes cake

OTTAWA– Tonight the Liberal Party will celebrate its 50th vote in support of the Harper agenda.

Traditional gifts for the 50th confidence vote include a renewed attack on equal rights for women and collective bargaining for public servants, a sneak attack on equalization for the provinces and continued mismanagement of Canada’s economy.

While Mr. Ignatieff claims to have the Harper government on probation, the reality is that for 18 months the Conservatives have been happily governing with a defacto majority with the help of the Liberals.

A list of the votes is attached.
