Statement by New Democrat Leader Nycole Turmel on the killings at a Jewish school in Toulouse, France

I am appalled by the deaths of four people, including three children, at a Jewish school in Toulouse, France.

Without presuming the motives of the killer, I am outraged that innocent people, particularly children, have been sacrificed for any reason whatsoever.

On behalf of all New Democrats, I share the sadness of the victims’ family and friends, as well as the entire school staff, the students of the school, and all of Toulouse.

Our hearts go out to them.
