Statement from NDP Leader Tom Mulcair on Yom Kippur

At sundown, Jewish people around the world begin observing Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.

As part of the High Holidays, this day provides an opportunity for introspection, repentance and prayer. It represents renewal and the New Year.

Catherine and I join all New Democrats in sending best wishes to all those observing Yom Kippur.
