Statement from the Leader of the Official Opposition on the passing of Senator Doug Finley

On behalf of the New Democratic Party of Canada, I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the family of Senator Doug Finley and, in particular, to my colleague in the House of Commons, Minister Diane Finley.

His loss will be felt by many, but none more so than his wife, his daughter Siobhan and his three grandchildren.

His passing will be mourned beyond party lines and Catherine and I will keep the Finley family in our thoughts and prayers.
