NDP statement on Passover

NDP Leader Tom Mulcair made the following statement:

"As Passover celebrations begin, my family and I extend our best wishes to all members of the Jewish community – in Canada and around the world.

This is an opportunity to gather with friends and family and retell the powerful story of the Exodus of the Jewish people out of slavery and celebrate the victory of freedom.

May Canadians of all faiths find inspiration in this tale about the power of hope.
