NDP statement on Easter

NDP leader Tom Mulcair made the following statement:

“As friends and family gather this weekend to mark Easter, my wife Catherine and I would like to extend our best wishes to all those celebrating, in Canada and around the world.

For Christians, this day marks the resurrection of Jesus and therefore carries with it the important messages of hope and renewal.

May this holiday be filled with joy for you and your loved ones. On behalf of all New Democrats, Happy Easter!”
