The NDP reflects on one year since the death of three RCMP officers in Moncton

Statement by NDP Leader Tom Mulcair on the 1st anniversary of the death of three New Brunswick RCMP officers:

One year ago today, three brave Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers were killed during a shooting rampage in Moncton, New Brunswick.

As the families of these police officers and the community in Moncton recover from these terrible events, they do so with the entire country standing united behind them.

As we mourn and remember today’s anniversary, I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the family and friends of these officers.

We will never forget their sacrifice.
