NDP leader Tom Mulcair brings his campaign for change to Quebec City

NDP leader Tom Mulcair was in Quebec City today as part of his Campaign for Change. Accompanied by a team of Quebec NDP candidates on the Dufferin Terrace, Mulcair highlighted some of the victories of NDP MPs on behalf Canadians.

“Over the last four years, NDP MPs have worked tirelessly to defend the priorities of the middle class and to repair the damage Stephen Harper has done. For example, it’s thanks to the dedicated work of NDP MPs that we were able to save the Maritime Search and Rescue Centre in Quebec City,” said Mulcair.

It was also NDP MPs who stood up for citizens who were inconvenienced by red dust; who proposed concrete solutions to ensure proper maintenance of the Quebec Bridge; and who fought for the interests of veterans.

“Stephen Harper’s plan is not working and he is completely out of touch with the reality of Quebecers and all Canadians,” said Mulcair. “Across the province and the country people are ready for change and we are the only real option to make it happen.”
