Mulcair brings NDP Campaign for Change to Facebook

Today, NDP Leader Tom Mulcair brought his Campaign for Change to Toronto for an online Question and Answer session with Facebook Canada.

“Torontonians, like all Canadians, are working harder than ever and just can’t get ahead,” said Mulcair. “It’s important for people to know the truth – that Stephen Harper has the worst job creation record since the Second World War and the worst growth record since the Great Depression.”

Mulcair spent an hour at Facebook Canada headquarters where he answered questions online from Canadian Facebook users. Mulcair highlighted the NDP’s priorities to support small business; stable middle-class jobs; and to grow our economy by protecting the environment.

“Stephen Harper’s ‘action plan’ is not working and he is failing to deliver on the priorities of Ontarians and all Canadians,” said Mulcair. “Across the country people are ready for change and we are the only positive option to make it happen.”
