Minster of Finance fails on facts

Today in the House of Commons Finance Minister Jim Flaherty claimed the NDP hasn’t been asking questions on the Economy. We’re delighted to correct his false impression.

Since the return of the House in September the NDP mentioned the economy 26 times during question period including 8 questions from the Leader of the Opposition.

In fact New Democrats have been putting the Canada’s economy front and centre while Ottawa Conservatives have been busy simply making things up.

It’s too bad Jim Flaherty seems to have missed all that.
