Justin Trudeau – flip-flopper – youth unemployment edition

Over the last several months, Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau has made one thing clear: whatever the issue is, he is willing to change his mind about it. His party has no plan, and he won’t tell Canadians what he really intends to do.

Take youth unemployment for example. It’s a persistent problem since the economic crisis.

Justin Trudeau has said that

“We have a responsibility to do more to support our young people. This means tackling youth unemployment rates.” - Liberal website, October 16th, 2013

This isn’t a surprising view – but keep in mind what Trudeau said a year before on the issue.

“When we talk to young people, when we ask about what preoccupies them, they don’t talk about youth unemployment.” [Translation] - Justin Trudeau, Radio-Canada, November 18th, 2012

So whatever happens this weekend, don’t forget: there is nothing Justin Trudeau won’t back down on. He has shown his poor judgement time and time again.

Canadians deserve better.
