Description

The New Democratic Party of Canada is hiring individuals that want to join our campaign and help bring change to Ottawa in this election. We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic people that excel with an approach over the telephone to assist with our election fundraising efforts.

No previous experience required, however it is an asset - we will train.

We offer an exciting environment with full-time, part-time and flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Fast growth opportunities are a possibility as well. If you are passionate about helping to elect a new government of Canada, this job is for you.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record supporter contributions
• Organize and keep track of contact information
• Raise awareness about the organization’s work
• Speak naturally about the platform and creatively from your heart

Qualifications

• Bilingualism an asset
• Independently motivated
• Professional verbal and communication skills
• Convey passionate and value-driven messages appropriately
• Excellent client service and people skills
• Experience in telephone fundraising an asset
• Knowledge of the policies of the New Democratic Party an asset
• Ability to work in a co-operative and team environment
• Ability to maintain courteous demeanour at all times

Salary

$17 per hour
