In the next 48 hours, we could see the number of protected waters in this country plummet to just 62 rivers, 97 lakes and three oceans.
If Stephen Harper’s Conservatives won’t maintain protection for all Canadian lakes and rivers – then at the very least we need to save the 27 Canadian Heritage Rivers whose protected status would be stripped by this monster bill.
