WIN THE IMMINENT BY-ELECTIONS
Including holding New Westminister-Coquitlam

And stop Harper from gaining momentum.

CATCH UP TO THE BIG MONEY CONSERVATIVE FUNDRAISING
With the support of everyday Canadians, not Corporate CEOs.

BUILD THE BIGGEST NEW DEMOCRAT CAMPAIGN IN HISTORY
By training more campaign workers, engaging more volunteers and Learning from Gary Doer, Darrell Dexter and Barack Obama’s inner-circle.

I would like Jack Layton and my New Democrats to hold Stephen Harper to account for:

Michael Ignatieff is not the answer because

(please check all that apply)
LIKE HARPER, he puts the priorities of his corporate executive friends ahead of the interests of everyday families. He voted to claw back pay equity for working women, and voted to giveaway billions to big corporations instead of helping families thrown out of work.
LIKE HARPER, he puts the priorities of Canada’s Tar-Sands ahead of a green and sustainable recovery. He’s gone as far as to call the Kyoto Protocol a “huge political liability”.
LIKE HARPER, he was one of the first to support George Bush’s war in Iraq. If he was Prime Minister at the time, Canada would be in Iraq today. He’s also endorsed the suspension of human rights to fight terrorism, and said that American imperialism was the only solution in Afghanistan.

Here are my thoughts on how we can defeat Stephen Harper and build a movement that I can believe in:

I hear too many stories about families in my community who can’t get the EI they’ve paid for.

Too many people are drowning in credit card debt as the only way to survive this recession.

Everyday people I know are worried about their jobs and pensions.
